They’re the perfect hair drying tool to enhance or achieve a natural wave or curl.

But what if you don’t HAVE a diffuser?

What if you can’t afford one, or you just want to give it a go once to see how it would work for your hair?

One of 2023’s biggest TikTok trends is to use a pasta strainer to diffuse your hair.

Yes, you heard correct.

How do you use it?

Literally put your damp hair into the strainer (after you’ve added a curl cream and some heat protectant), then flip your head upside down into the strainer and hold a hair dryer (on a lower heat setting) up through the strainer until your hair is dry.

Also be careful with metal strainers - always use a mesh strainer. Metal will heat up quickly and could damage or burn your hair.
