Scalp care 101
Itchy scalp? Yeah, you're not alone.
The pesky culprit could be scalp build up - a collection of dirt, dead skin cells and oil.
If you're thinking that your general cleansing routine isn't working, perhaps it's time to get a little more specific.
Here are some things you can do to get rid of scalp build up for an itch-free scalp.
1. More frequent washes
Look, we're told a lot of different things when it comes to how often we should wash our hair.
But the fact of the matter is, everyone responds differently, so there's no one size fits all.
If you've got an oily head and a lot of build up, it is acceptable to wash your hair - particularly scalp - every second day.
If you've got dry or damaged hair and scalp build up - try every three to five days.
2. What kind of shampoo should you use?
You might need to get your hands on a clarifying shampoo for a deep clean, like Davroe's Clarify - Deep Cleansing Shampoo or De Lorenzo's Scalp Balance Cleanser.

You gotta get in there - physically. You can use your finger tips and nails to gently scrub your scalp during a wash, or get yourself a scalp brush like Tangle Teezer's Scalp Exfoliator.
