Start with completely dry hair and apply your favourite heat protectant. Select a temperature suited to your hair type, using lower settings for fine or delicate hair and higher settings where appropriate.

Divide hair into manageable sections. Open the spoon, place a small section of hair between the barrel and spoon, then gently rotate the curling iron to wrap the hair around the barrel. Hold briefly before releasing the curl carefully. Repeat throughout the hair, allowing curls to cool before gently separating with your fingers or brushing through for softer waves.
